The African American Business Association of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce presents the Juneteenth CEO Celebration and Awards Gala Saturday June 18th, 4pm-8pm at the Clarion Convention Center in Joliet.  The event will recognize eight CEO’s who have demonstrated leadership in the Will-County-Joliet community with their courage and perseverance.

Keynote Speaker for the evening is Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino Tarrant.

Honorees are Business of the Year Cornell Lurry, Midland State Bank, Ms. Jayme Cain, The Times Weekly, Outstanding Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Tyrell Hundley, Joliet Kreamers, New Business of the Year, Amirah Parker, Gem Bows, J.D. Ross, Juneteenth Lifetime Achievement Award, The Honorable Denise Winfrey, District 8 Will County Board Member, Juneteenth Freedom Award, The Honorable Bettye Gavin, 4th District Councilwoman, City of Joliet, and Baron Waller, Dream Big Award, Baron Waller, Culver’s Restaurants Chicago and Joliet.
