This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Citywide Faith-Based Community Breakfast hosted by Dr. Mildred Harris, who is known as the “Mother in Zion”. The faith-based organization is located in Chicago.

Prophetess Ora Holloway of Igniting The Fire Prayer Ministries was one of awardees who received the Distinguished Leadership Award on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Hilton Hotel in the International Ballroom, 20 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Ms. Holloway is the founder and CEO of Touching Lives Soul Outreach and Igniting The Fire Prayer Ministry, which is a community based organization located in Joliet. Ms. Holloway is known as The Church Lady from the Church column she pinned in The Times Weekly, News for 8 years. She was honored with the award for her advocacy for Homelessness, and community. She’s strived to impact and transform lives of the people in her community through the books she’s written, her motivational speaking and teaching. The award was given for her leadership within the community and her outreach efforts.
