Join Joliet Township High School for our Critical Conversation Series from 9 a.m. to noon on September 24, October 15, and November 19 at the Spanish Community Center, 309 N. Eastern Avenue in Joliet.

The Saturday morning conversations revolve around topics in the book, “Becoming a Social Justice Leader,” and focus on examining and challenging the impact of racism and other forms of oppression on disciplinary patterns, instructional practices, and school policies. We invite parents and members of the community who want to engage in authentic, critical discourse regarding the impact of racism on our students and JT’s commitment to ending this systemic issue. You do not need to read the book in advance to participate. Spanish interpretation is available.

If you are interested in attending, please complete the interest form HERE.
