On Saturday, December 10, 2022, the Hope and Divine Purpose Transitional Living Home Inc. (HDPTLH) in the Joliet/Chicago Metropolitan area distributed nearly 40 warm coats to families needing a gift of warmth this season in Joliet. This would not have been possible without the help and donation from Operation Warm Coat.

Since inception in 2015, Divine Purpose Transitional Living Home has conducted outreach projects to help the community with programs like The Mommy and Me Diaper Project that distributed hundreds of diapers to single mothers, the Hot Meals To Go Program in 2020 during COVID 19 where the shut-in program distributed a total of 4,000 meals with the help of partnering restaurants in Joliet. The Hope and Divine Purpose Transitional Living Home, Inc. mission is to help restore self-sufficiency to individuals and families. Israeio Holloway heads the group as CEO which is also a 501 © (3) charitable non-profit organization. Several families with children were able to choose from many options of warm coats for this winter season.
