Ghana National Council of Chicago Metropolitan, Elizabeth Amoh owner of One African Market and Martha Asare owner of Martha Beauty Supply and Braiding were among other businesses that came to support The Mukase Restaurant at their opening in Bolingbrook.

The Mayor of Bolingbrook, Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Village of Bolingbrook officials welcomed the 1st Ghanaian inspired Mukase Restaurant to Bolingbrook on March 30 at the official ribbon cutting dedication of the new restaurant. Along with city official many Bolingbrook residents came out to welcome the new restaurant to the community as everyone took part in sampling  a few of the items on the menu. “Outside of Chicago, Bolingbrook has the largest population of Ghanaians,” said owner Agyeiwaa Frimpong.” “It made sense to have a location in Bolingbrook, which also gives The Mukase Restaurant the opportunity to share our rich culture with the western suburbs,” Frimpong continued.
