Get ready for Elvis to enter the building – and he’s bringing friends! Relive the magic of 50’s rock and roll in Skip Griparis’ newest show. Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre is excited to premier Skip’s “Elvis, Buddy, Roy and Ricky” tribute show on Friday, August 18 at 7:30 pm. The lively, indoor theatre show is filled with fun stories and big hits from the other fab four. Be the first in the world to experience this trip with rockabilly’s heroes!
Skip Griparis is known to many as the dynamic, world entertainer: singer, guitarist, comic impressionist, movie actor, band member of Trilogy, New Colony Six, Oliva Newton John’s band and now IL Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member! Skip brings all his talents to the stage to recreate the hits of Elvis, Buddy, Roy, and Ricky like never heard before. Skip notes, “My talented band members really kick the show into high gear! Dick Hally on bass guitar and Jim Alberico on percussion – both great guys and musicians.”
Get ready to cruise down memory lane and even make some new ones at this show’s premier right here in Joliet! Tickets are $20 for all ages. Seating is general admission. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the theatre or online (no extra fees). Link is on the park’s website and social media. Tickets may also be purchased at the door (cash or check only).
The lobby opens at 6:30 pm. Refreshments and a cash bar will also be available. Parking is free and available within the park and south of Jefferson Street. The Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park and Theatre is located at 201 West Jefferson Street, downtown Joliet.
