Two hundred and twenty students from Joliet Central and West High School received recognition for their Advanced Placement Achievement at the October Board of Education meeting. Award Criteria included AP Achievement – a score of 4 or 5 on an AP exam; AP Scholar – a score of 3 or higher on 3 or more AP exams; AP Scholar with Honor – an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams; and AP Scholar with Distinction – an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
