Dream Academy Foundation is excited to host its 5th Annual Holiday Party and Toy Giveaway for over 2000 families on December 16th from 2 pm-5 pm at DoubleTree Grand Ball Room-1909 Spring Rd, Oakbrook, IL 60523.

The foundation’s most anticipated day is dedicated to bringing joy to families in DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties who are less fortunate for the holiday. “We want to bring a sense of belonging, excitement, love, dignity, joy, peace, and fun for the day.” Said Dominique Bryant, Founder of Dream Academy Foundation. Over 50 VOLUNTEERS will welcome families at the event to a room filled with the holiday spirit. There will be gifts, holiday activation stations, food, and music for the entire family.

The Dream Academy Foundation was created five years ago to empower the youth of today, to fulfill their dreams of tomorrow!” The foundation’s motto is “Dream IT! Believe IT! Achieve IT!” They provide a platform for youth ages 10 to 24, to form a sense of “community” and safety between the dreamers and their mentors. The organization wants to inspire others to dream, by giving back to those in need.” The DAF started five years ago serving 150 families, “this year with the help of our sponsors, we are excited to serve over 2000 families,” said Bryant. “We are proud to have served over 3000 youth to date through our holiday giving.”

Dream Academy Foundation is a nonprofit with a mission to create a series of programs propelling youth into the next phase of their lives, empowering them to become change agents in their communities and beyond. The Dream Academy Foundation focuses on taking a holistic approach to building a positive self-image and impactful future. The programs and major initiatives that we offer are Life Development/Mentoring for 10-18, Career Readiness Internship and Apprenticeship programs for 16-24, social engagement projects & Ghana- 10 Day Cultural, Educational, and Social Engagement.

The foundation is still accepting donations from the Chicagoland communities. They have 20 donation box locations throughout Chicagoland, including DoubleTree and Marriott Hotels in Oak Brook, 11 Chase and 6 Starbucks locations. They are expected to provide 5000 toys and 2000 books to give away to promote literacy.
