“Hollywood Joliet is thrilled to host for this first time a car show at our property. This is a great
opportunity for friends and family of all ages from the community to come together and celebrate
summertime before the season ends,” said Mike Thoma, Vice President & General Manager of
Hollywood Casino Joliet.
“We have ample space in a beautiful setting and our friends at PCA
Chicago and Mercedes Benz Club in addition to the many car enthusiasts in the Chicagoland
area will create quite the show. Be sure to stop by to enjoy food, music and unique
automobiles.”
While browsing the vehicles on display, event attendees can also enjoy local food trucks, music
and giveaways from Hollywood Joliet. Food trucks including Aztec Dave’s and Chicago’s
famous Home Run Inn Pizza will be available for purchase. Hollywood Joliet will also be selling
specialty crafted mocktails to benefit a local charity. Hollywood Joliet will also have a booth on-
site highlighting employment opportunities now and at its new land-based state-of-the-art
property currently under construction at RockRun Collection, a new super-regional commercial
and residential development, conveniently located adjacent to the Interstate 80 and Interstate
55 interchange in Joliet.
Hollywood Casino Joliet broke ground on its new $185 million regional destination in late 2023.
The best-in-class facility will feature roughly 850 gaming positions, a retail sportsbook, high-
quality bars and restaurants, and an approximately 10,000 square foot event center with
meeting areas. Once completed, the new land-based location will replace the existing riverboat
casino located off Interstate 80 in Joliet.
