“A murder is Announced will take place on Friday, October the 13th at . . .” your home. That’s what the cast of characters come upon in the local newspaper, the Chipping Cleghorn Gazette, announcing a murder at their home at 6:30 pm that evening. What would you do? Bring out the sherry and sandwiches and wait for company. Human nature’s attraction to the morbid and fantastic, promises a party that evening. But a murder? It is one of Agatha Christie’s favorite sleuths, Miss Marple. Murder or not, with Miss Marple something exciting is bound to happen.

Directed by Elana Carmine (Seussical Director) and starring an experienced cast, “A Murder is Announced” is a perfect thriller for the October season.

“A Murder is Announced” performances are Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, October 13 at 2:00 pm at the Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park indoor theatre. Suitable for the family (however, the youngest members may find it a bit talky.) Take a “stab” at naming the murderer during intermission for a chance to win a trick or treat.
