The Working Families Will County PAC, located in Joliet is endorsing seven candidates in the upcoming April 1 election. According to the PAC release, each of the candidates has demonstrated a commitment to policies that uplift working families, promote economic and social justice, and ensure a government that prioritizes the needs of everyday people over corporate interests.
The endorsed candidates and their respective races are:
v John Laesch – Running for Aurora Mayor, Laesch is a longtime advocate for labor rights, sustainability, and economic fairness. His leadership in community initiatives has consistently centered on improving working conditions and expanding opportunities for middle-class families.
v Alicia Morales – Seeking election to Joliet Township Supervisor as a write-in, Morales is a champion for violence prevention, transportation, and social services that strengthen communities. She has worked extensively with local organizations to address economic disparities.
v Sam Coffey – Running for Joliet Township School Board 204, Coffey is dedicated to government transparency, uplifting student’s voices, and ensuring that graduates are prepared for the future.
v Christine Lynn – Running for Joliet Township School Board 204, Lynn is a passionate advocate for equality, public education, and access to mental health services.
v Deborah Zeich – A candidate for Joliet School Board 86, Zeich has a strong track record of supporting public education, small businesses, and responsible development that benefits all residents.
v Bill Spengler – Seeking election to Valley View School District 365U, Spengler brings extensive experience in community leadership and a strong focus on making government more accessible and accountable to everyday people.
v Victoria Pipkin – Running for Valley View School District 365U, Pipkin has been a vocal supporter of policies that enhance social equity, environmental sustainability, and economic opportunity for all residents.
