Commerce Bank is opening a new commercial banking office at 2730 Caton Farm Road in Joliet designed to serve its business customers in northern Illinois. After five years of growth, the expansions aim is to reflect the bank’s commitment to providing more responsive services, allowing business customers to have direct access to personalized support and innovative financial solutions. By establishing a local presence, Commerce Bank’s goal is to deepen its connections within Will County and help businesses thrive.

Leading the new office are Nick Moran, senior vice president and senior commercial banking relationship manager, and Deanne (Dee) Morrell, senior vice president and senior commercial banking relationship manager. Moran grew up in Lemont and has been with Commerce Bank since 2001, focused specifically on the northern Illinois market for the last five years. Morrell is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) with over 25 years of experience in the industry. She is a long-time Plainfield, Ill. resident who joined Commerce in 2024.
