In the two weeks since Cook County Commissioner Donna Miller (6th District) launched her congressional campaign, several elected officials familiar with her work are endorsing her candidacy. Upon Commissioner Miller’s announcement of an exploratory committee, a broad coalition of elected officials were encouraging her to run.

Miller is proud most of her recent support is coming from the colleagues she serves with on the Cook County Board.

“Knowing my fellow commissioners and south suburban elected officials, who see my work every day, are supporting me is a welcomed boost to my candidacy for congress. These are the people who know my positions on issues and the hard work I’ve put in to make sure not only the residents in my district are represented, but everyone in Cook County,” says Miller, who lives in Lynwood, but grew up in Chicago.

Miller’s candidacy is a culmination of her professional and political careers. She has dedicated both to fighting for access to health care, transportation, jobs, criminal justice and environmental equity.

Miller continues to receive endorsements across Cook County.
