“We wanted to create an opportunity for our students, and dads to come together and celebrate the things that truly matter,” said Principal Alicia Arnold. “Our Day of Thanks event was a beautiful expression of the kindness, generosity, and compassion that defines our school community.”

The event was a collaborative effort, with attendees participating in a range of activities, including serving a Thanksgiving meal and volunteering in classrooms to support teachers and students. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, warmth, and a sense of unity, as students shared stories, made new connections, and forged lasting memories.

As the event ended, Principal Arnold reflected on the significance of the Day of Thanks celebration. “At Innovations High School, we believe that community is at the heart of everything we do,” she said. “Today’s event was a reminder that, together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our students.”
