Ninety-four Joliet Township High School students from the graduating class of 2026 were recognized at the February Board of Education meeting for earning the prestigious distinction of Illinois State Scholars.

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission gives State Scholar designation annually to senior students who are in the top half of their graduating class and/or scored at or above the 95th percentile nationally on the ACT or SAT. Roughly 10 percent of Illinois high school seniors receive this recognition each year.
