Three Rivers Association of Realtors is hosting their annual Home Expo, and they invite you to their one stop shop for all things related to purchasing or owning a home!

ECDS Home Remodel & Repair Grant Program

Ezio Community Development Services is still accepting applications to assist homeowners with minor repairs around their home. If you think you qualify, reach out and we can provide more details as needed. The information packet is attached below. Please spread the word!

  • Grant amounts:  $1,000 to $3,000 
  • 20 grants available in 2026 (we have space for 10 more applicants)
  • Available to residents in: Joliet, Crest Hill, Romeoville, Bolingbrook

TreeKeepers Opportunity

Rita Renwick with the City of Joliet Tree Advisory Board is teaming up with City Arborist Piotr Zubek to organize a training program with the goal of forming an Openlands TreeKeepers Chapter in Joliet. If you would like to see more trees planted in Joliet this might be a great opportunity for you! See the attached flyer and contact Rita if you are interested in volunteering.

ESERA 2026 Events:

Popcorn Fundraiser – THANK YOU to all who supported our efforts, we raised a total of $1,282. These funds will help with our 2026 scholarships and future community events.

Juneteenth Family Fun Fair – our first Juneteenth Family Fun Fair is a day of fun in the sun for the whole family. There will be live music, children’s games, vendors, a raffle, dinners for sale, and a bake sale. So, mark your calendar and come join us as we celebrate!

Black Joy Parade Joliet – the ESERA team started discussing the parade in August 2025 with the hopes to revitalize an event formerly known as the Black Pride Parade. The last event was held downtown Joliet in 2013. We are happy to announce that we are partnering with the City of Joliet and City Center Partnership to host both the Parade and City Center Activation.
