Chicago’s Hit Comedy Series returns bigger, bolder, and funnier than ever

Created by Jay Davis, the hit comedy series has quickly built a reputation for spotlighting Chicago’s vibrant creative community through a unique blend of sketch comedy, stand-up performances, music, and authentic storytelling. What started as a platform to showcase local talent has evolved into a growing entertainment brand drawing attention from audiences and creatives alike.

     Now entering its second season, Creative Hustle promises an even larger production filled with high-energy performances, bigger comedic moments, and fresh creative collaborations designed to keep audiences entertained from beginning to end.

“This season pushes the boundaries of creativity, comedy, and storytelling,” Davis said. “Our team poured everything into bringing this vision to life, and we’re excited to celebrate with the people who support the culture.”

     Season 2 features a lineup of well-known Chicago comedians and entertainers, including Damon Williams, Shawn Morgan, Brian “Da Wildcat” Smith, Mike Samp, Mo Good, Calvin Evans, Kristen Toomey, Big Keef, and Fab Monroe.

The show also incorporates live musical performances from artists including John Blu, Sandy Redd, Vo, and Slique Jay Adams, adding another dimension of entertainment to the production.

     Hosting the season is veteran comedian and television personality Rodney Perry, whose presence brings additional star power and industry recognition to the project.

Organizers say the red-carpet screening is designed to provide guests with more than just a preview of the upcoming season. Attendees can expect an immersive evening featuring entertainment, networking opportunities, exclusive content, and opportunities to connect directly with the cast and creators behind the series.

The red-carpet screening will take place Saturday, May 30, at 7 p.m. at Hollywood Blvd Cinema in Woodridge. Tickets are available now on Eventbrite.
