Chianti Classico is Art was the theme of the 2026 road tour which presented the new wine releases from this historic region of Tuscany in Italy.
More than 40 producers were on hand to personally pour their wines and discuss their winemaking techniques with buyers, restaurant owners, wine shop owners and wine journalists in the luxurious setting of Ai Fiori, the formerly Michelin Starred fine dining Italian restaurant.
The setting could not have been more appropriate. “Ai Fiori” means “among the flowers,” in Italian. Being among the tasting tables and smelling the floral aroma of the wines was like walking through the Gardens of Tuscany.
Chianti Classico wines are prized for their robust flavor profile which lends itself to a variety of food pairing adventures. From the aperitif through the appetizer, main course and dessert, there is a wine to match every cuisine and palate.
Chianti Classico is Art afforded a rare opportunity to taste and compare the wines from various estates in a single time and place. The wines were accompanied by Ai Fiori menu items that showcased the wines.
These are examples of just a few of the favorites that were tasted:

Villa Mangiacane is a vast estate where Sangiovese rules. The quintessential grape of Tuscany is the foundation to its Chianti Classico wines.
Dominating the estate are thousands of lush olive trees that produce fine extra virgin olive oil known for its distinctive spicy taste.
The wines are no less singular in their depth of character.
