Based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden tells the story of Mary Lennox, a young girl sent to live with her reclusive uncle after being orphaned. Amidst the mystery of Misselthwaite Manor, she discovers a neglected garden and, with the help of newfound friends, works to bring it back to life, unlocking long-buried family secrets along the way.

The musical features a talented cast of Joliet West students led by senior Gracie Mitchell as Mary Lennox and senior Dylan Lee as her grieving uncle, Archibald Craven. With soaring music by Lucy Simon and a heartfelt book by Marsha Norman, the production is a family-friendly experience that promises great visuals, powerful storytelling, and a message of hope and renewal.
