Election Judges get pay raise
“Our Election Judges provide an incredibly important service to Will County’s voters on each Election Day,” County Clerk Staley Ferry said. “I want to thank the Will County Board for recognizing the value of their work by approving my request for a much needed pay increase.”

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant swore in members of the Will County Community Mental Health Board at their first meeting. The newly created board is tasked with evaluating mental health services in Will County.

Will County application for ARPA infrastructure funding open
“These funds are a significant boost to local infrastructure projects,” said Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant. “Investing in water, sewer, and broadband remains a top priority for local governments and special purpose districts. Black History Month to highlight contributions of African Americans
Communities in Will County are celebrating the accomplishments and heroism of African Americans during Black History Month.
Jordan Henry found guilty in 2022 Chicago Carjacking on Diversey Parkway that ended in Will County after high-speed chase
Henry’s bond had been set at $1 million. In May, Henry sought to dismiss the action in Will County, arguing that it should be tried in Chicago where the carjacking occurred. Judge Bertani-Tomczak denied the motion after the prosecution argued that Henry continued to exert unauthorized control over the stolen Volkswagen Jetta in Will County.
Glasgow announces Nunez sentenced to 10 years for drug induced homicide
“Saul Nunez is the 17th Will County defendant to receive a prison sentence for dealing deadly poison that causes the death of another. Although these cases are often extremely difficult to investigate, our police departments and my office are committed to doing everything we can to take dealers who sell deadly drugs like fentanyl off our streets,” said State’s Attorney Glasgow.
Forest preserve Valentine’s Day happenings
With Valentine’s Day approaching, the Forest Preserve District of Will County has scheduled several programs that celebrate the sweeties.
