Tickets cost $10. All PSHS students can purchase tickets for $5 the night of each show with a valid school ID. Children 2 and younger are free.

Plainfield East High School presents “Shrek The Musical” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, “Shrek The Musical” is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure bringing all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there is more to the story than meets the ears.

Irreverently fun for the whole family, Shrek proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre. “’Shrek The Musical” is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America.

Advance tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for students, staff, and senior citizens.

Tickets may be purchased online at https://plainfield-east-high-school-choir.ticketleap.com/pehs-shrek-the-musical/.

This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivorous plant promises unending fame and fortune to the down-and-out Seymour as long as he keeps feeding it BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent toward global domination!
