Dr. Judy Mitchell appointed interim CEO/President of Romeoville area Chamber

The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has hired Dr. Judy Mitchell as a consultant to strategically advance the Chambers’ mission and vision and provide administrative leadership and support in a part-time capacity.

Dr. Mitchell served as Joliet Junior College’s ninth president. After retiring in 2022, she was recognized with President Emerita status by the college for her 25 years of service to the institution. She also serves on a variety of boards throughout the Will County community.

The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce is excited about Dr. Mitchell stepping into this interim role, and looks forward to her leadership, community knowledge, and expertise.
