Mercedes-Benz Dealership breaks ground in Romeoville

Published on

On Tuesday Romeoville and Mercedes-Benz officials broke ground on the 40,000-square foot dealership located on 23 acres of land on the east side of Weber Road between Airport Road and Gaskin Drive (south of Blain’s and The Bluffs). The two-story building will include a showroom, sales area, service areas, lounge, and office space. The building will consist of primarily glass for a highly visible, expansive showroom, attractive building projections, and a unique roof design.

“Car dealerships are a destination, and we look forward to welcoming new customers and being able to offer high quality vehicles like Mercedes-Benz in Romeoville,” said Mayor John Noak.

“Fields Auto Group is thrilled to be breaking ground on our newest Mercedes-Benz store in Romeoville, Illinois. The Village of Romeoville is the perfect partner for Mercedes-Benz of Romeoville due to its wonderful location and a family friendly community,” said Dan Fields, President of Fields Auto Group.

“Mercedes-Benz of Romeoville is part of Fields Auto Group, America’s premier luxury auto group. Our commitment to building long term relationships with our customers has enabled Fields Auto Group to grow from a single store in 1971 to North America’s premier luxury auto group, with locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, Florida and North Carolina.”

The dealership should be open in the fall of 2024. This will be the second new car dealership in Romeoville along Weber Road.
