Houbolt Road Extension project opens new bridge to traffic

The Houbolt Road Extension creates a direct route between I-80 and the CenterPoint Intermodal Center (CIC), which officials say will significantly reduce congestion on local roads and shorten long routes to the highway, saving drivers time, miles, and money. The CIC is the nation’s largest inland port, with as many as 20,000 trucks passing through it daily. This new bridge will help truckers maximize driver hours while creating a new avenue for companies to optimize their resources.

Skeleton Key Brewery partners with West Suburban Community Pantry to fight food insecurity

Woodridge-based Skeleton Key Brewery has committed to supporting West Suburban Community Pantry in Woodridge and Wheaton-based The GardenWorks Project in their efforts to fight food insecurity in the regional community and help ensure our neighbors have access to fresh, healthy food.  The Skeleton Key team will be hosting volunteer days at the Pantry to help with restocking, sorting, and packing food.
