Joliet City Manager Capparelli names Robert Brown interim police chief
City manager Jim Capparelli’s office made the announcement Oct. 6, that Dawn Malec, Joliet’s first female police chief ‘s position “has ended effective immediately,” according to a news release. His office also announced Deputy Police Chief Robert Brown will serve as acting police chief until a permanent one is selected.
