Historic Bill Raises Minimum Wage to $17 and Eliminates Tipped Wage for Contracted Workers at BWI Airport and Baltimore Penn Station

The higher salary is a result of the Secure Maryland Wage Act, a new law sponsored by Maryland Senator Antonio Hayes and Delegate Kriselda Valderrama.

House calls bring COVID-19 vaccine to homebound patients

BIRMINGHAM TIMES — So far, the House Calls program has vaccinated 30 patients and eligible caregivers and plans to administer up to 130 doses by mid-April. The program provides care to patients who cannot travel to their doctor’s office for appointments.
