Summer Begins with cocktails made with Rhum Barbancourt White-$21.99

Summer is almost here. One of the best mixers to get the party started is Rhum Barbancourt White from Haiti ($21.99).

Produced in Haiti, Rhum Barbancourt White is a true taste of culture, embodying the island nation and its flavors. Slightly spicy, it is famously distilled from fresh sugar cane rather than molasses, which accounts for its clear, white color. Rhum Barbancourt White is expressive, with flavors of sweet Mango and Nougat, with a spicy sharpness.

Rhum Barbancourt White is young, vibrant and versatile. It has a smooth and soothing texture that touches all of the senses.

Rhum Barbancourt White just screams summer vibes. Sipped by the pool or as the star guest at a garden party, it’s the perfect mix for fun and sexy summer drinks.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

Dawn of the Island

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ oz Rhum Barbancourt White
  • ⅓ oz tangerine liqueur
  • ⅓ oz raspberry liqueur

Pour all ingredients in a mixing glass half filled with ice, shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.

The Calliope

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Barbancourt White Rhum
  • 1 1/2 oz Rockey’s Liqueur
  • 1 oz Pineapple
  • 1/2 oz Ginger Syrup

Shake and pour with ice into a highball glass. Fill with fresh ice, and finish with lots of Angostura Bitters. Garnish with a lime wheel, cherry, and fresh mint.

Kick off your shoes and feel the gentle stroke of wet grass under your feet and imagine spending time on a tropical isle with cocktails made with Rhum Barbancourt White!
