This was a protection for women, and it is our right to choose whether we want to carry a baby to term or no. We as women deserve to make decisions about our bodies. It will be sad if my daughter has fewer rights than I did growing up."

District 202 high school students earn State Seal of Biliteracy

Local school districts give the State Seal of Biliteracy to encourage students to pursue biliteracy and honor students’ mastery of two or more languages. To earn the distinction, students must pass a foreign language Advanced Placement exam with a score of three or higher.

Teacher’s new contract approved in Dist. 202

“This contract successfully addresses many needs brought forth by our membership. The collaborative efforts between the Board of Education and our APT negotiation team have allowed us to ratify a contract before the end of the 2021-2022 school year.” said APT President Dawn Bullock.
