The C.A.P.E. (the committee for the Coordination of Administration and Parent groups for Educational efficiency) parent organization will host the forum at the District 202 Administrative Center, 15732 Howard St. The presentation will be recorded and posted on the District 202 website.

Each monthly Coffee and Conversation serves as an open forum for community members to engage in informal conversations with the senator and each other about issues facing the region and the state.
Felicia McCranie, director of corporate affairs for Walmart, said the decision to close the Plainfield store was made after a review of more than 5,000 stores nationwide for financial viability. She said the Plainfield store "underperformed," despite the fact Walmart was completely remodeled last year with several self-check out lanes at the front of the store and an expanded grocery area.
“This event is a fun, free activity for families to attend while schools are closed on Presidents Day,” said Bertino-Tarrant. “Dozens of vendors have signed up with interactive activities for students and important local resources for parents and caregivers.”
